The flow path from the filters to the turbo inlets is very direct and does not change direction as abruptly as common OEM airbox designs. So instead of a complete redesign, we focused on improving the OEM airbox with less restrictive flow and improved temperature efficiency. We have developed non-woven fabric replacement filters that have a much higher flow rate compared to the paper filters. To reduce air intake temperatures and force air into the airbox, we designed large front scoops that sit behind the grilles. The carbon blades direct air into the channels and effectively insulate the inlet side of the air box.
